A Different Kind of Agenda
Not a list of promises written behind closed doors.
The agenda is meant to be shaped in public. Residents can support priorities, oppose them, request changes, and submit new ideas. My job is to determine what the City can lawfully do, what it would cost, what the evidence says, and what I can personally promise.
Some commitments are fully within my control. Others require a Commission majority, the City Manager, Volusia County, FDOT, the School Board, or another partner. The website will say which is which.

Roads, Traffic & Safer Mobility
Focus on road ownership, crash data, congestion, speeding, intersections, sidewalks, and practical mobility improvements.

Stormwater, Drainage & Flood Resilience
Treat drainage as long-term infrastructure requiring maintenance data, capital planning, and measurable backlog reduction.

Water, Sewer & Utility Reliability
Plan utility capacity, rates, maintenance, and expansion with growth and affordability in view.

Measure service levels, response needs, contracts, station capacity, and prevention—not just slogans about safety.

Pair every major proposal with cost, funding source, maintenance burden, and measurable benefit.

“I won’t promise you results that require someone else’s vote.”
I can promise preparation, advocacy, my vote, transparency, constituent service, and follow-through. When an outcome depends on six other elected officials, another government agency, the courts, or the budget, I’ll say that plainly.
